Modernised holiday house with a light decor, with a private garden, ideal for families

The holiday house is a charming former farm labourer’s house. It is under heritage protection and was comprehensively renovated in 2014, taking ecological aspects into consideration. It is in the centre of Rysum.

Furthermore, the house has a small, enclosed garden with garden furniture, a beach chair and a terrace.

The interior is particularly tasteful and matches the charm and character of the 60m² detached house. Each individual room shows attention to detail. The tiled bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm) and also has a TV, under-floor heating and a radiator, so it is pleasantly warm in winter. The living room provides a fireplace, a flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver, a stereo system and under-floor heating. The open gallery, accessed up stairs from the living room, has two further beds (80 x 200cm). The open kitchen is equipped with a modern five-flame gas stove, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and a kettle. The ground-level bathroom with a big walk-in shower, an infrared cabin, a washing machine, under-floor heating and radiators rounds off the house. There is also a children's travel cot and a high chair with a reduced seat size (no Trip Trap high chair) available. The entrance area is at ground level.

A restaurant (Alter Gulfhof) and a bakery are right near the holiday house. There is a larger supermarket about 8km away in Emden. It is 4km to the nearest beach and the sea is 3km away. The nearest larger train station is 10km away.

    “Super süßes und gut ausgestattetes Häuschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und erholt. Eine Kleinigkeit, die uns nicht gefallen hat: Der Garten ist leider sehr klein und hat keinen Rasen, sondern Kieselsteine. Mit Hund ist der Garten unvorteilhaft.”

    “Wir möchten unsern Urlaubern keinen Rasen bieten, der vom Urin der Hunde verbrannt ist.
    Der Garten wurde daher mit einer großen Holzterrasse ausgestattet. Es ist schwer für jeden Urlauber das richtige zu treffen.”
