If you are vacationing near Rørvig, the best place to swim is Skansehage beach, which is very child-friendly and one of the best in Denmark. You should also experience the atmosphere in the harbor, where you can buy fresh and freshly smoked fish every day, meanwhile your children can catch crabs on the pier. There are also cozy cafes, ice cream kiosks and mini golf. A few kilometers away is Nykøbing for shopping. For anglers there are good opportunities here. In Ordsherred there are more than 50 galleries and a lively artistic life... There are also several golf courses, Dragsholm Castle, from the 13th century, where the white ghost haunts, beautifully situated on Nekselø Bay. Here you can also enjoy culinary experiences with local produce, or visit the many art galleries that characterize Odsherred. Since the Stone Age, the Isefjord has provided the basis for a varied coastal culture based on hunting, fishing and seafaring, which today have been replaced by marinas and cottage areas.
