This friendly holiday home is located about 5 km above Talla on the edge of a small historic settlement. The former farmhouse has been stylishly restored and tastefully furnished: The historic atmosphere of the house has been preserved and is now complemented by modern comforts. Directly from the kitchen you can access the large, largely covered terrace with barbecue and wonderful views over the vast oak forests. One of the bedrooms (with bathroom) has a separate entrance from the terrace. The bright eat-in kitchen is well equipped (induction hob, American fridge with ice cube production). Enjoy the tranquillity of the woods; take a walk to the spring below at the former wash house (300 m) or beyond; cook yourself something good and end the day with an aperitif on the terrace. If you want to get active, you can go trekking and biking in the nearby Casentino Nature Park (15 km) or at Prato Magno (20 km to the summit at 1592 m). There is something to discover everywhere: Medieval castles, spiritual monasteries (Camaldoli and La Verna, about 40km), picturesque hill towns such as Bibbiena and Poppi (about 20km; stroll around Arezzo especially when the big antiques market takes place there on the first weekend of every month - (25km); Siena and Florence (80km) can be reached within an hour's drive. In Talla you will find everything for your daily needs: bars, restaurants, organic food shop, groceries and an outdoor swimming pool (6 km). You can play golf at Poppi (20 km). Parking spaces and a lovely children's playground directly in front of the Borgo (approx. 150 m).
