The region is suitable for hiking, fishing, swimming, skiing. Meiringen-Hasliberg driving distance 15 minutes for skiing. Lungern is surrounded by mountains of 2000m altitude and has an wonderful village centre with old wooden houses. Tourist centres as are Lucerne and Interlaken are reachable within a 30-45min. drive. Excursion possibilities: Grimsel Pass, Sustenpass, Meiringen Hasliberg with dwarf trail for children, Aare Gorge, Ballenberg (Farm House Museum), Rosenlauigebiet with glacier and gorge, Lake Lucerne, Grindelwald, Jungfrau, Kleine and Grosse Scheidegg, Titlis, Interlaken, Beatushöhle ... It has countless possibilities.

It is surrounded by 2,000 meter high mountains and has to catch a beautiful lake with the possibility of trout. Here you can still feel original, rural life. It has many farms and alpine economy. We have among other things an original restaurant in the rock, where the underground shooting range is accommodated. For disco and more entertainment (climbing gym, indoor) Meiringen is very close, 15 minutes by car. The cable car Lungern into a beautiful hiking area with magnificent views and in winter possibility for snowshoeing and ski touring. Ski resort for alpine skiing is 15 minutes away by car in Meiringen-Hasliberg.
