The Villa AL SOLE is part of the Agriturismo San Tommaso, 2.5 km from the town of Pomarance, on the sunny side of a hill 200 m above sea level, the absolute protagonist is the panorama of an infinite valley and the SUN that shines from the morning in the evening which creates wonderful atmospheres of light until sunset with breathtaking scenery. The typical Tuscan countryside with cultivated hills, olive trees, vineyards and cypresses will immerse you in a dimension of relaxation to enjoy the sweet life together with your friends or relatives. The farmhouse villa has been recently renovated and equipped to guarantee its guests the best hospitality in the exquisitely Tuscan style with a comfortable loggia with a table for up to 20 people, a terrace for outdoor dining and a large private garden terrace in front.

The Villa represents an ideal location to appreciate privacy and tranquility without having to give up the comforts located in the immediate vicinity. It is in fact located 2.5 km from the village of Pomarance with shops, supermarket, restaurants and cafes. We are in the unmistakable scenery of the Val di Cecina, a land of ancient villages (Pomarance, Volterra, Montecatini Val di Cecina, many other small ancient villages), and numerous oases and nature reserves, such as those of Berignone and Monterufoli which surround the immediate surroundings . A few km away are the sources of the Cecina river with wonderful bodies of water for bathing in and enjoying uncontaminated nature.


The property is part of an organic farm that produces extra virgin olive oil and quality wine to be tasted directly in the villa on request.


Upon request we can organize breakfasts, lunches, dinners or tastings of local products.




Villa in the Sun is made up of 2 apartments and can accommodate up to 18 people. There are 7 bedrooms (4 double bedrooms and 3 bedrooms that can be used as quadruple, triple, twin or double rooms if necessary), 4 bathrooms (each with shower, bidet, toilet, sink). The accommodations are on the ground floor, each with an independent entrance and each has its own equipped kitchen and barbecue. The Villa has a loggia with a table for up to 20 people, a terrace, a large private garden terrace with deck chairs and sun loungers and a private space with a pergola in the garden around the swimming pool.


The Il MANDORLO apartment of approximately 100 m2, on the ground floor with living room, kitchen with sofa and extendable table, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a mezzanine with 4 single beds.


The Il FICO apartment of approximately 120 m2, on the ground floor with living room, kitchen with sofa and extendable table, two bedrooms with double bed and two bathrooms with shower on the ground floor and two mezzanines, one with 4 beds, and the other with 2 single beds


The property

The park surrounding the farmhouse extends for approximately 11,000 m2 on a hilly surface with cultivated fields, a large olive grove and a small vineyard.

The property on two terraces has 2 villas separated by a fence but which can be occupied by the same group of people in the case of larger groups.

The garden includes areas of evergreen lawn and a multitude of plants, aromatic bushes, cypresses and many olive trees, which form the ideal setting to savor the atmosphere of this region.


Pool:

The splendid fenced swimming pool is about 20 m from the farmhouse and can be reached via a flight of stairs. The 16 x 8 m rectangular pool is covered in sand-coloured PVC and equipped with Roman access stairs, has a paved beach for the shoreline, a waterfall to hear the sound of the water. In the access part it has a depth of about 70 cm for at least 4 meters where children can easily get wet and then it gradually increases up to 1.50 m. All around there is a private sunbathing area on a vast green lawn area where gazebos, umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers are arranged. The swimming pool is sanitized with chlorine and can also be used at night thanks to the lighting both inside and outside the pool. There is a cold water shower available. It will be available from the first Saturday in April until the first Saturday in November.


Parking

The farmhouse can be reached by car to the apartments and has private parking even for larger vehicles.

Animals:

The admission of animals into the facility must be authorized in advance by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.


The rate includes:

Utilities, water, gas for kitchen use and hot water, electricity, weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, Wifi, parking.


The rate does not include:

Extra cleaning in case of presence of animals (€35.00 per stay per animal).

Tourist tax (where applicable).


On demand:

Extra cleaning (€22.00/h per person employed), extra linen (€15.00 per person), wood (€20.00/100 Kg).



In the property there are 2 houses with 3 apartments each, all very independent with their own private outdoor space, barbecue and parking. In one of the apartments lives the owner who, besides taking care of the vineyard, the olive trees and the garden, is always available for any need. All around there is a large and green garden with panoramic walk, refreshment area and large furnished terraces. The 16 x 8 m swimming pool is fenced in and has a waterfall, a Jacuzzi and a private shaded area for each apartment.

Here are produced extra virgin olive oil and good wine.
