Right in the heart of the magnificent Corbières region, a land of discovery and wine-growing par excellence, Le Cers is a peaceful gîte for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature.

Around the gîte, you'll be able to see massifs, vineyards and forests, and there are plenty of hiking trails to help you discover the region and its breathtaking scenery: the Orbieu river and its waterfalls, the Congoust gorges and the Alaric summit. If you're a keen cyclist, there's plenty to do on the back roads. If you'd like to discover more of the region, the gîte's location is ideal, as you'll be less than half an hour from a host of sites, including the medieval town of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, Lagrasse, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Roman Narbonne and Fontfroide Abbey.

Ribaute is a charming village surrounded by vineyards, and it's here that you can taste the best wines and cross the vineyards to discover the secrets of this jewel of the region. There is a restaurant in the village, with other shops next door in the village of Lagrasse.

At the gîte, you will have access to a large private wooded area with unique views. Depending on the time of day, you can pull up a chair and relax in the sun or under a tree. There is a sheltered terrace with garden furniture and a plancha to liven up your meals in fine weather. You can also park your car in the property right next to the house.

This air-conditioned gîte opens on the ground floor into a lounge with sofa and TV, a living room with dining table, and a fully-equipped separate kitchen. Separate bathroom with bath, washbasin and washing machine. Separate WC. A first bedroom with a 160cm bed. Upstairs, a second bedroom with two 90cm beds that can be joined together and a third bedroom with a 90cm bed.

Bed linen and towels provided. End-of-stay cleaning extra. Baby equipment available on request. WIFI connection. Electricity consumption: 2kwH/day/person included, to be paid to the owner at the end of the stay.
