Situated on a secluded estate with breathtaking, uninterrupted views over the southern part of the island, the pretty Villa Son Coves Petit is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden whose extensive lawn is shielded from the outside world by a row of oleanders. The small but lovely pool is connected to the terrace in front of the south-facing house via a paved path. There are a total of six sun loungers that you can place anywhere on the lawn, perfect for enjoying the Mediterranean climate and the warming sun after a quick refreshing dip in the garden shower. There are two wonderful terraces to choose from. On the side facing the pool is the covered terrace, where there is a dining set consisting of high-quality aluminium chairs and a table with a glass top. On the side of the house there is a brick barbecue for relaxed evening cooking. The second seating area is located in an equally attractive spot on the terrace in front of the house entrance. What better place to sit first thing in the morning, plan your day and enjoy this rural paradise than here under the venerable old fig tree?

Half of this striking villa consists of a restored stable, so inside you will find many charming details such as triangular windows, brick niches and exposed brickwork, which make for a lovingly and tastefully designed interior. Combined with exceptionally chic, modern furniture, this villa fulfils all the wishes of a small modern family or two couples on holiday together. The living and dining area leads into the kitchen. The large, sandstone-coloured floor tiles provide continuity through the individual areas. The graceful wood-burning stove next to the dark leather sofas in the living room complements the delicate classical metalwork of the art deco-style dining room set. The huge kitchen with recessed lighting is visually separated from the other areas by a free-standing cupboard. Hidden behind it, you will find wooden cupboards and a fully equipped kitchen with Senseo coffee machine, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and much more. The two bedrooms are spread over the two floors. Two chic, nostalgically furnished shower rooms ensure that you don't have to queue for the bathroom in the morning. The bedrooms are furnished with a 1.60 metre wide double bed or two single beds side by side. An additional children's folding bed measuring 1.77 m x 0.78 m and a sofa bed measuring 1.4 m wide are also available. The upper bedroom has its own bathroom and access to a sunny roof terrace. The extremely well thought-out, spacious layout offers so many possibilities for a small group that we can recommend this charming and rustic villa without reservation.

The Son Coves Petit property is situated in a popular rural location between the small village of Ses Salines and the well-known Campos. The villa is close to the road between Ses Salines and Campos (depending on the wind direction, there may be some traffic noise) and is therefore a good starting point for various island excursions. Ses Salines is a typical Mallorcan small town where you will find shops and a few good restaurants. The village is famous for its salt production, so it's no surprise that several well-known producers offer tastings where you can buy their wares as gifts for friends or as souvenirs for yourself. On the north coast around Colonia de Sant Jordi there are some beautiful sandy beaches, most notably the spectacular Es Trenc beach. This is the ideal place for a relaxing walk among the natural dunes of the 5 kilometre stretch of beach. Or, if you want to get even closer to nature, there is also a nudist section of beach. At the end of the day, return to the tranquillity of the beautiful Villa Son Coves Petit. The authenticity of this property's agricultural past is reflected in the nearby dairy - on some days you can hear and smell some of it, but only in certain windy conditions. The restored Villa Son Coves Petit is situated in an idyllic rural location north of the pretty village of Ses Salines. There are shops in the village and on Thursdays there is a lively weekly market with fresh produce. Campos is also only 10 minutes away by car. The nearest seaside resort is the natural beach of Es Trenc, which is often referred to as the Balearic Caribbean due to its turquoise-coloured water and fine sand, although there are countless pine trees here instead of palm trees.
