Detached holiday house in a quiet location with a south-facing balcony

The detached two-family house is in the Frankenwald nature reserve. It is quietly situated, on a road with little traffic in Marktrodach/Zeyern. Nature starts at the end of the road, inviting you to go hiking, mountain biking and Nordic walking: the Rodach river flats, the Kündle elevation with protects animal and plant species, the mixed forests of the Frankenwald.

The well-maintained holiday apartment of around 70m² is on the first floor of the house and consists of the following rooms: a living and dining room with a flatscreen TV, a video recorder, a stereo system, a sofa and a dining space. Next to it there is a bedroom with a double bed (200 x 200cm) and adjustable slatted frames for a good night’s sleep. On the other side of the living room there is an adjoining spacious kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine and additional dining corner. A pantry provides additional storage space for groceries. There is a bench in the hallway for changing shoes. On the west side of the entrance there are the separate toilet, the bathroom with a bath and shower, and the second bedroom with a single bed (90 x 200cm) and a sofa. The bathroom was renovated in 2017. All the rooms have a normal room height and windows, including the bathroom and WC. There is central heating. At the turn of the year 2019, the living / dining area was renovated and the double bedroom modernized.

In front of the living room and the double bedroom there is the roofed, south-facing balcony with a table, chairs, garden lounger and parasol. The apartment has a free outdoor parking space and wireless Internet access.

The use of the washing machine in the house is possible for a fee.

You can set off straight from the house on hikes, cycle tours or Nordic walking. The Way of St. Francis (Frankenweg) leads past the house. Other hiking trails or the cycle path start about 200 metres away. There are many restaurants all around, so hikers can take a break and enjoy some Franconian specialities. It is also 200 metres to the bus stop, with a cyclist bus at the weekend and on national holidays. The bus can take you easily to the higher places in the Frankenwald, or back again, with your bike, so you do not have to slave away to conquer altitude metres. A blittle drinks market and a restaurant are about 300-500 metres away. Other good shopping facilities, easy to get to by bike or by car, are 1.5km away. A swimming pool, minigolf course and tennis courts are 2km away. In the neighbouring town of Wallenfels you can take part in a rafting tour on the wild Rodach on Saturdays. The regional town of Kronach 8km away has many restaurants, bars, two icecream shops and the Rosenberg fortification, which could not be conquered during the Thirty Years’ War.

    “Für einen Erholungsurlaub ohne Trubel mit Ruhe und viel Natur kann ich die Ferienwohnung von Müllers sehr empfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist gepflegt, die Wohnung ist großzügig und einen Südbalkon zum in der Sonne träumen gibt es auch. Die Vermieter sind nett und haben jede Menge Tipps und Anregungen für das Ferienprogramm. Kleine und große Wandermöglichkeiten bieten sich direkt ab der Haustür. Rundtouren mit dem Auto eröffnen interessante und abwechslungsreiche Eindrücke vom Frankenwald, schönen Kleinstädten, viel Kultur und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.”

    “Auf der Suche nach einer ruhigen Lage, mit angenehmen Vermietern und gepflegter Einrichtung bin ich auf die Ferienwohnung von Müller's gestossen. Sie erfüllte alle diese Kriterien und war trotz Kälte angenehm geheizt. Die Matratzen sowie die wohlige Decke haben mir einen angenehmen Schlaf beschert.
    Obwohl ich im Winter (Dez. 2012 + 2013) hier war sind die Wanderwege zu den verschiedenen urigen Einkehrmöglichkeiten geräumt und die Gaststätten geöffnet. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir der Herrgottswinkel und Dornach!
    Ich hatte mich sehr gut erholt und werde gerne wieder kommen.”
