    “In de plaats zelf is niets te vinden aan horeca of winkels. Na zo'n 20 minuten de berg af rijden bereik je bv Tropea, waar winkels en genoeg restaurants zijn. Ook andere dorpen dichter bij zijn goed te bereiken.”

    “Wir reisten in den bayerischen Osterferien an und hatten den Strand in Zambrone nahezu für uns alleine. Kaum Touristen verirrten sich in dieser Zeit in die Gegend. Der Ort bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt, unser Hund wurde auch in Restaurants liebevoll empfangen.

    Das Restaurante Villa del Verde bietet kalabrische Köstlichkeiten zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Am Bahnhof Zambrone lädt eine Eisdiele zum verweilen ein. Viele kleine Straßen in den Bergen bieten die Gelegenheit für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge und Wandertouren. In der Osterzeit kann man Zambrone als ein wenig verschlafen bezeichnen. Dies störte uns keineswegs, da wir den Urlaub als Erholung angesehen haben. Wer mehr Action haben möchte, der sollte größere Städte oder die Haupturlaubszeit im August vorziehen.
